From the Working Group Leader

“After working more than 30 years on Illinois energy policy I believe NextGrid is a key step in our state’s continuing leadership on these issues. By collaborating on our visions for the future and exploring options for moving forward together, we can make sure that the dramatic changes underway in the electric industry benefit all of our state’s electricity consumers.”

Focus of the Working Group

The “Customer and Community Participation” Working Group will study ways to engage, educate, and empower customers to help shape and benefit from emerging opportunities in the electricity system. Working Group 4 will specifically consider the impact of new technologies on underserved customers and communities.
